MELISSA HOM/PROVIDED TO RN&R: A Christmapolitan cocktail is being served during Miracle on 4th Street, a holiday pop-up bar running through Dec. 31 at Ferino Distillery on East Fourth Street in Reno.

Miracle, a pop-up holiday cocktail bar, is appearing through Dec. 31 at spots across the U.S. and Canada, including at Ferino Distillery, 541 E. Fourth St. Featured drinks at Ferino’s Miracle on 4th Street pop-up include a Christmapolitan, Jingle Balls Nog, Snowball Old-Fashioned, and Naughty and Nice shots.

Food trucks will be at the distillery on most Fridays and Saturdays during the pop-up run, takeout versions of the cocktails will be sold, and featured holiday beverages and accoutrements can be purchased here.

At The Brewer’s Cabinet, a brunch for the Boys & Girls Club

From 10 a.m. to noon Dec. 4, Reno Tahoe Young Professionals Network is presenting its Brewer’s Brunch to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. The brunch is in the back room of The Brewer’s Cabinet, 475 S. Arlington Ave. Brunch is a breakfast burrito and mimosa or bloody Mary.

6th grader raises money for Food Bank of Northern Nevada

Hasini Suryadevara, 11, who attends the 6th grade at Swope Middle School, is selling holiday ornaments, photo frames and snow globes to raise money for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. All proceeds from sales of the $10 ornaments, $5 frames and $3 globes go to the Food Bank.

Sales take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Dec. 4 and 5 at Save Mart Supermarket, 4995 Kietzke Lane, near Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que. Every dollar the Food Bank receives helps provide three meals. Details.

Everything’s coming up bubbles at sparkling wine workshop

From 1 to 3 p.m. Dec. 12, sommelier Dani Morris of Full Glass Hospitality is leading a sparkling wine workshop at Café Whitney in Whitney Peak Hotel, 255 N. Virginia St. The workshop features six sparkling wines sourced from Australia, Italy, Spain and France (including Piper-Heidsieck 1785 Brut Champagne).

Ferino Distillery and Cherry Bomb Catering holiday dinner

From 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 13 at Ferino Distillery, 541 E. Fourth St., Hungry in Reno is presenting its Hungry Supper Club, featuring a four-course holiday dinner with cocktails or wine. The meal is being prepared by Cherry Bomb Catering.

Net proceeds of each ticket will be donated to a choice of charity: Eddy House, Reno Rodeo Foundation or STEP2. Tickets: $200 individual, $350 for two. Purchase/details.
