(of Booker T. & the MG’s) performs Wednesday, July 13, for a “Concert Under the Stars” benefit for Carson City’s Greenhouse Project. (“Soul man,” RN&R, June 30.) The greenhouse will use sustainable methods to provide education and job opportunities for students and people with special needs, while providing year-round, organic produce to low-income residents.
