The classic Bob Fosse musical finally comes to the big screen, and the filmmakers have done a pretty decent job with a tough-to-adapt piece of work. Renee Zellweger, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Richard Gere (thatโ€™s right, Richard Gere) all deliver excellent performances, each of them doing some decent toe tapping and first-rate singing. The film is not well lit at times, and the editing cuts into some of the action (most notably, Gereโ€™s tap dance number). Still, the music is great, and the performances out of this world.
