Reno News & Review

Week of Sept. 5, 2024

From the editor’s desk

Did you pick up your paper copy of the September RN&R yet? It’s the Best of Northern Nevada issue! Not only is it our biggest issue of the year; it’s also everyone’s favorite opportunity to celebrate their favorite Reno institutions and maybe learn about a few local gems you didn’t already know about.

You can read the Best Of results and features on our website, too, but for the full complement of old-school, alt news-style, tactile bliss—not to mention Nathaniel Benjamin’s exuberant graphics—the paper version is a keeper.

The papers are in all of the usual locations in Reno, Truckee, Sparks, Carson City, Gardnerville and Minden for another three weeks. Or, if you’d like to acquire your copy with a bit of ceremony, come down to Northern Nevada Pride festival in downtown Reno this Saturday, Sept. 7. We’ll have a booth there, and, for the first time in years, you’ll be able to pick one up from us directly.

Hope to see you there!
