Alexander Van Alstyne and his A.V.A. Ballet Theatre want to prove that ballet isn’t confined to The Nutcracker, Swan Lake or Giselle. In fact, they want to show ballet can rock. Tatu, A Rock Ballet mixes contemporary ballet, Harley Davidson motorcycles and rock music by artists such as Celine Dion, Metallica and Christina Aguilera.
