The Light Circus Nevada Neon Museum, on the ground floor of the National Bowling Stadium, at 300 University Way, held its grand opening celebration on Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The display contains dozens of the neon signs that the Nevada Neon Project, led by Will Durham, has been salvaging from motels, casinos and other Silver State businesses since the 1990s.

In 2025, Durham told the RN&R, “The world right now is a lot to be worried about and … I want this to feel like an absolute escape. When you’re there, you’re in this place that takes you away.”

If the buzzy atmosphere among the grand opening attendees was any indication, he’s succeeded at his mission.

The Light Circus is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is $15 general; $13 for Nevada residents, seniors, military and students; $10 for kids ages 3-12; and and free for kids 2 and under.
