Going to a movie. The theater is air-conditioned, and it’s nice and cool in there. I can buy some beer and chill out with my friends. I like to get some food with my friends and get toasty before we go to the movie. Sometimes I like to go to the docks up at Donner Lake, and I like to also float the Truckee.

The heat doesn’t really bother me that much. I’ve spent a lot of time on the edge of the Central Valley in California, and it gets very, very hot down there. So, I’m acclimated to the heat. But if I really wanted to beat the heat, I’d just go over the hill to the coast.

I like to go up to the lake. Tahoe is the best for wake surfing. Wake surfing is getting pulled behind a boat, and you surf the wave. It’s a blast! I like to get a beer tossed to me while I’m surfing. I don’t want any trash or to pollute the lake, so I always catch my beer!

I beat the heat by going to a water park with my daughter. They have sprinklers that you can run through. She’s in the toddler phase right now, so she’s really starting to run and enjoy the water. We go out to Lazy 5 water park—and we have squirt guns to cool us down.

I like to hang out in the shade with a cool drink of water and with my dogs. My dogs don’t want to play in the shade; they just want to hang out with me and drink the water, just like me. You have to stay hydrated.
