If you’re a fan of shows like American Chopper, you might be surprised to learn that one of the motorcycle industry’s rising stars lives in Reno. Aaron Greene, founder of Paramount Custom Cycles, is gaining fame here and abroad for his brand of hot-rod motorcycles. His latest design, the Cherry Bomb, recently won best of show at thefifth annual California Mid State Rally, beating out high-profile designers like Johnny Chop and Cole Foster. The Cherry Bomb boasts such features as a 330-millimeter tire, a 147-cubic-inch motor, external fuel-pump drive system and an innovative induction system. You can learn more about Greene’s creations this Friday when Paramount throws a bike party featuring a bikini contest and music by Chicago’s Liftpoint and local band Delusions of Grandeur.
