The Brian Landrus Project, headed up by saxophonist Brian Landrus—the guy voted Reno’s best musician by Reno Gazette-Journal readers last month—will highlight “Blue Wednesdays” at Dick and Jane’s Nightclub, 1537 S. Virginia St., beginning Sept. 25. The band’s got a fabulous groove on, so check them out … Quintessential Reno frat band Arch (named after lead singer and Archuleta brother Kyle) will play their last gig at Dick and Jane’s before disappearing forever into the pool of past Reno rock legends. The gig is scheduled for Sept. 20, after which they’ll disband, so—yeah, check that out too.
