Creative Performing Arts Center’s Hometown Nutcracker is the only professional rendition of the Nutcracker Ballet in the Reno/Carson area that uses all local dancers. Aside from the primary roles, 76 children and adults complete the cast of this exciting new production of the traditional Tchaikovsky ballet. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. Dec 20 and at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 22. Tickets are $25 and $15 for students. Performances will take place at the Reno Hilton Showroom, 2500 E.
