Brüka Theatre will present Second Skin: Stories of the Mask, 8 p.m. Jan. 5 at Brüka Theatre, 99 N. Virginia St. Joan Schirle, an artistic director at the Dell’Arte Company, developed and will perform this piece about the mask’s ability to transform its wearers. “Second Skin is about the self we are born with and the skin we grow to protect ourselves as we go through life,” Schirle says. “[It’s] about the play between the self and other.” Tickets are $12 advance, $10 advance for students and $15 at the door.
