KRZQ teams up with Harrah’s Reno to present Plaza Palooza, a summer concert series beginning June 17 with New York-based new-wave pop-punk band stellastarr. All the concerts are free, open to all ages, and will take place on two Thursdays out of each summer month at Harrah’s outdoor Plaza. Other concerts include The Von Bondies and Lola Ray. Local vendors will be stationed at the concerts, and on off-Thursdays, EJ the DJ will be spinning on Virginia Street. Shows begin at 6:30 p.m.; headliners are slated for 8 p.m.
