The RN&R reported recently that local band Mnemonic will perform at the upcoming Emerging Artists and Technology in Music convention in Las Vegas, and now we’ve learned that local band Buried has earned a slot there as well. Congratulations to both!… Local band 13th Insight deserves a big round of applause for raising $1,000 for the American Red Cross from the sale of the band’s CD single 9-11. CDs are still available at Tower Records, Mirabelli’s Music City, the Admissions and Records office at the University of Nevada, Reno, and from the band at shows.
