Living Riverside, a 13-song compilation CD featuring musicians living in the Riverside Artists Lofts, debuted at a CD release party Sept. 5. Produced by Steve Pfister, the compilation includes loft residents Pfister, Sam Thomas, Kim Elise, Lacy J. Dalton, Nick Ramirez, Branka Gugich, Jackie Ford, Genie Webster, Aaron Conkey and Kate Cotter; songs range from jazz to soft, earthy melodies to Ramirez’ scrumptiously kitschy old-country grunge rock tune “Marianarchey.” Living Riverside is available at Dreamer’s Coffeehouse, 27 S. Virginia St. (at the lower level of the Riverside lofts), Tower Records, The Warehouse and at various local bookstores around town.
