After five years, the members of Crushstory have decided to go their separate ways. According to front man Jim Bowers, “We all decided that it’s time to move on; the members of the band all have various new projects in the works.” Catch their final show at 10 p.m. May 10 at Club Voodoo with Podstar from Lawrence, Kan. The cover is $5. Check out www.crushstory.com for photos from the band’s recently finished three-week tour. … Apparently, some idiot broke Ark-a’ik‘s front window during a benefit show for Ark-a’ik, if you can stand the irony. So show some support for this all-ages venue, 555 E. Fourth St., by buying a record or seeing a show this weekend.
