Yes, this film is just another buddy movie, but, with Owen Wilson and Eddie Murphy trading jabs, it happens to be a funny one. Wilson plays a special agent who must team up with Murphy’s professional boxer to seek out a stolen airplane that can become invisible. It’s incredibly stupid, but I can’t deny laughing a lot. Murphy is often at the top of his game, and Wilson is just funny to look at, let alone listen to. His self-deprecating humor is the perfect compliment to Murphy’s egotistical bravado. Funnier than it ought to be.
