We haven’t come such a long way, baby. When the RN&R staff began considering the topic of women in some arenas—like rock music, spiritual leadership and extreme sports—we found females to be seriously underrepresented to say the least. Guys join bands. Guys snowboard. Guys become pastors of churches. Can women break into these traditionally male places? Of course. And we found a few women who’ve been doing just that.
