As diverse as the art and entertainment will be at the Zephyr Lounge June 22, the artists all have one thing in common: They want to stop nuclear waste from being stored at Yucca Mountain in southern Nevada. To this end, a fund-raiser titled โ€œExpose Yourself to Artโ€”Not Nuclear Wasteโ€ will be held for the state of Nevadaโ€™s Nuclear Waste Project Office. The event begins at 5 p.m. at the Zephyr, 1074 S. Virginia St., and will include a fashion show by designer Roxanne Jitomer, live entertainment, a full menu, guest speakers and auctions of jewelry and art, such as Dave Burdickโ€™s โ€œWho Needs Planes Anyway?โ€ (pictured) and works by Greg Allen, Andrew Waage, David Dory, Brian Bird and others. Donations will also be accepted at the door. For details, call 324-9853 or visit the NWPOโ€™s Web site at
