Millennium Performing Arts goes nightclubbing with its dance event, Velocity. Billed as “Reno’s first interactive performance rave,” the Millennium dancers and poi (fire) performers will dance to the non-stop beats of techno music spun by DJs Johnno, Shmoe, Christophe and San Francisco’s DJ 34. The event is a fund-raiser for Millennium’s Club Lust production at Brüka Theatre next month. The dancing begins 10 p.m. July 25 at Metropolis, 45 W. Second St. Admission is $10 at the door.
