They must be wearing mittens in hell, because a kind soul just opened up an all-ages club in Sparks. Carson City native Jon Velasquez said he opened Rack’em Up, 1227 Baring Blvd., so that “youth and families would have a clean environment to hang out at.” How clean? There’s no alcohol served at the pool hall/arcade, and no smoking is allowed in the building. Velasquez also donated the use of his club’s space and sound system for the second annual Boys and Girls Club benefit, an all-ages hardcore show to be held at 4 p.m. Jan. 27.
