Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma broke box office records when it opened on Broadway in 1943 and now the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company presents their own version. The story of a simpler time in the Oklahoma territory of the 1900s, the musical tells the story of a dreamy cowboy who falls in love with the farmer’s daughter and the hired farmhand who is a rival for her affection. Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 2, 8-9, 15-16 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 3, 10, 17. Tickets are $14, $12 for students and seniors and $8 ages 5-17.
