Holiday party hosts, start your engines! It’s time for some major menu management. Wine scribe Steve Noel has some recommendations for what to drink on all of the December holidays.

Food scribe Maude Ballinger has the latest in local food news: For starters, Coffeebar opened a new location at Northstar in Truckee, and Pete’s Meats BBQ food truck is now serving Texas-style craft barbecue in Reno and Sparks. Check out Taste of the Town for more openings and events.
