The Adicts are at the pinnacle of punk rock thanks to hook-y anthems and a trademark Clockwork Orange “droog” look. For more than 50 years, the raucous U.K. outfit has been crafting crunchy and fun up-tempo jams that range from the goofy “My Baby Got Run Over by a Steamroller” to the political “Viva La Revolution” to the heartfelt “Troubadour.” Their live shows are some of the best and most entertaining I’ve ever seen, as songs like “Joker in the Pack” feature playing card-flying action, and “Who Spilt My Beer” includes frontman Keith “Monkey” Warren messing around with a giant inflatable beer mug. Don’t worry if you don’t know their songs—because their catchy choruses will have you singing along almost immediately! The Adicts are set to perform on Friday, May 22, at Northern Nevada Night Skies, at the Robert Z. Hawkins Amphitheater at Bartley Ranch Regional Park, at 6000 Bartley Ranch Road, in Reno. Tickets start at $47.86. For tickets and more information, visit the TicketWeb link. Monkey is the latest to answer The Lucky 13; here are his (brief) answers.
