It's not easy to find, but there is more information available on the city's website. Some information is very accessible.

The easiest stuff to find is at http://reno.wm.com/ and www.reno.gov/Index.aspx?page=867. They provide information on “acceptable” recyclables, new trucks, what happens to the old plastic recycling bins, and so on, plus there are “frequently asked questions.”

But the prices agreement between the city and the contractor is more difficult to find. It would be nice to report that readers can click on a link marked “Prices,” but no such luck. It's posted in a non-searchable PDF copy of the city's contract with Waste Management Inc.

Here's how to find it: Go to www.reno.gov/Index.aspx?page=867, open the “Reno Disposal Residential Agreement” link, and then scroll down to “Exhibit C” on page 55.
