A group of teen filmmakers will begin producing a film about local food in the Great Basin this year. It will feature local farmers, chefs who use local ingredients and local food advocates within the area. With help from producer Kevin Porter, the students—primarily from Truckee Meadows Community College High School—will begin shooting in April and continue through the seasons until next winter.
