The Black Rock Rendezvous will be Sat., May 29 to Sun., May 30. This leave-no-trace, camping weekend offers talks by the Bureau of Land Management, Friends of Nevada Wilderness, Desert Research Institute and others about the region’s history, geology, archaeology, the Paiutes, emigrants and ranching. There will be a kids camp, tours of hot springs and the Emigrant trail, a geocache rally, Burning Man ticket raffle, live music, rocket launches, cowboy poetry and more.
