I went to Piper’s Opera House, and I did an investigation there. We had a lot of phenomena, and a spirit will drain all the batteries, things will short out. This is actually happening to one of my clients at a reading that I did earlier today.

That was an example of what spirits can do. I’m not sure that that’s what it was, but that’s the kind of thing that can happen.
So what kind of psychic are you?
As far as being a medium and connecting with spirits, I’ve been doing that since I was a kid. When I started reading every metaphysical book I could get my hands on was when I figured out that I needed some control over the situation.
What was the situation?
I was seeing spirits. I was hearing them. I was feeling them. I was open to spirit communication. I just had to learn to control it, to shut it down when I wanted to rather than having them be in control of me.
How did that manifest?
I finally went to a national spiritualist church. Part of their church service is where mediums get up there and give messages. And I thought, “Well, I can go to church and also do the thing that I do naturally.”
What kind of people have you run across in this endeavor?
People, as in “clients”?
No, people as in “dead people.”
Husbands, wives, brothers, sisters. I have had Mary, mother of Jesus, come through a couple of times for different people. These people were very spiritual. When I open up, I always ask for the highest and the best, and most of the people who come through are family and friends that didn’t have closure when they crossed over. We don’t know when we’re going to cross over a majority of the time. There are a lot of issues still hanging. People start having dreams about their loved ones, and they start feeling them around them, and the feelings and dreams don’t go away. Finally, I wind up getting a phone call that they need a connection.
How long have you been doing this professionally?
About 14 years now.
What’s the one thing you consistently hear from spirits to describe what goes on over there on the other side?
They keep telling me they’re not dead; they’re just in another place because they’re still growing and evolving. They’re not in heaven with clouds and wings and a halo. They’re just in a different vibration. They’re not at their final place.
