KRZQ 100.9 FM is organizing a benefit show to honor the victims of last week’s terrorist attacks. It’s slated for 7 p.m. Sept. 20 at the Little Waldorf Saloon, 1661 N. Virginia St. The cover will be $3, and all proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross. The lineup hasn’t been confirmed yet, but KRZQ promises at least four local bands. “We at KRZQ understand that people want to help, but not everyone has $100 to give,” says KRZQ program director Wendy Rollins. “This way, they can feel as though they have made a difference and enjoy the music and the unity.” Call 333-0123 for more information.
