Free time
Imagine that you were given 90 seconds on television to say anything you wanted to say.

KNPB, which has been providing the bulk of the public’s direct media exposure in Northern Nevada to candidates, gave the candidates that chance and has been running the results. The next programs of “candidate free time” will be aired this Saturday at 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Viewers can tune in and see how usefully the candidates employ their 90 seconds.

KNPB is also broadcasting a long series of candidate forums moderated by Erin Breen. Between now and the Nov. 2 election, such forums will include races for the Nevada Legislature, school board, Washoe County Commission, Family Court and the Nevada Supreme Court. The full schedule is at www.knpb.org/productions/vote2004/schedule.asp.
