New York composer and concert pianist Christian McLeer headlines Artists for Artists, a benefit show for local arts groups. He will share the stage with coloratura soprano and former Reno resident Monica Harte, New York’s Remarkable Theater Brigade, members of the Reno Chamber Orchestra and other local performing artists. The show benefits the RCO, Sierra Arts and Nevada Opera. The concert begins 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, 100 S. Virginia St. Tickets are $25. Call 787-8497.
