Mark Earnest‘s new, post-Gro band, The Vitriolics, will make its debut at 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at Rack’em Up in Sparks. Freak Hayride will headline, and another new band, Dampened by Life, will also debut … Keen must have good karma. Front woman Chelsea Keen says Electra Records, Giant Records and the Zomba Music Group have all been asking about the band, and the band’s song “281” is being added to KRZQ’s regular rotation … Sources say Neil Edwards from Acrylic is moving to Portland, Ore., and that front man Liam Conran may start a new band.
